She's one month!

My precious Angel is a month old. And she's a cutie, she looks at me a lot and she tries to smile it's so cute (:
I love being a mommy it's the best feeling in the world to know someone so small loves you just as much as you love them. Deion and I are good, he's being a really good Daddy. He takes her everywhere with him and gives me a break...defenition...PERFECT (:

One week.

My baby girl is now a week old!

I'ts SO exciting cause I actually kicked into "Mommy Mode" and now I know the hunger, sleepy, uncomfortable, and wet/poopy cry. It's great(:

I love my job, I love Iralyn, and I love Deion, my life is great :D

It's hard having the baby home but, she's such a joy at the same time. I've gotten NO sleep and I'm on the edge. The first night was so bad...She was awake every 2 hours, and then she thinks she's nocturnal and likes to look at me for hours lol then goes back to sleep. She pooped at 3 in the morning and it got out her onesie and up her back so I had to bathe her and clean her bassinet and stop her screaming and then I put her back to bed. Worst night of my life. Oh well, I guess Iralyn's marking her territory!

Heyy, it's me obviously.
Since I look absolutely horrible since I just had baby I am not posting pictures post birth. So, I'll put up an edit I did of pictures of Iralyn and I so y'all can see the resemblance.

My princess was born this morning at 5:45 AM on February 2nd 2011. She is 6 pounds 9 ounces and 19 inches long. She's PERFECT I love her so much. I never knew I could love someone so much, it's crazy. She's gorgeous. 

So here's the labor and delivery story...I was feeling like crap around 7PM about 2 hours before Tasia got here. So I tried to shake it off and it just wasn't working so Tasia, Kyle and the kids get here and then we decided to visit my sister Madilyn in the hospital cause she was having her son.

My sister Madi had her son yesterday February 1st and his name is Bentley Hunter. So me, Amanda, Tasia, Devyn, and Chloe went to see her and the baby then after our visit we were leaving and my water broke in the parking lot. So Tasia, Chloe and Devyn take me back inside and Amanda went back home to get Deion and get my bags since I wasn't coming back. 

After I was settled in we called my doctor and he was out of town (how cliche) and they sent in a female and she was really nice. So she checked me and I was 4cm. So she left and Deion, Tasia, Amanda and Devyn stayed and Chloe went home. I called my mom and she came to keep me company and I decided to go completely natural. 

Labor is NO fun, I kicked, screamed, cried, threw tantrums, cussed at everyone. It was the most PAINFUL shit in my life but, it was totally worth it and after almost 12 hours and 34 minutes of pushing Iralyn Berkley came into the world. 

When I saw her I cried and said "She's SO beautiful I love her". Deion cried too and was hugging and kissing me. Amanda and Tasia were really excited and my mom was happy she was there to see her new grandbaby. It was so wonderful  and once everything was set I went to sleep with my new baby (:

False Alarms=A Disappointed Stella.

Last night around 8 PM I started to get really bad contractions and I thought I was in labor so I called my cousin Amanda in my room and told her the deal and she was like we need to get to the hospital ASAP and I said I have a feeling it's fake and she didn't want to wait and find out so we called my doctor and he told me he'd meet us there so we left and got to the hospital and they hooked me up to monitor everything and the doctor came and they told me it was a false labor....WHY? They told me they'd keep me over night to check because technically I'm only 36.5 weeks (37 in my book) and they didn't want her born yet til next week.

I was SOOOOO mad because, I was excited she was coming and she was gonna be here then all of a sudden the excitement dropped....Oh well I knew it was fake :/

Hmm, Tasia's coming down tonight and staying for a week and hopefully the baby will get her while she's here. Right now I'm in bed on my laptop, eating girl Caramel Delights and texting Tasia, Abby, Deion, and my sister Devyn. Tasia's flight is at 7:20 so she'll be here around 9:45. Abby is keeping me company with her texting, Deion is on his way over and stay with me until Baby I arrives. And Devyn will be around basically 24/7 until I go into labor.

All is pretty well I'm excited cause my mom will be here for the birth! YAYY. Well, hopefully. We'll have to see depending on her schedule. I want her there though.

Update.

Hmmm, It's been a long 9 months and I'm finally reaching my due date very shortly. I get Braxton Hicks contractions all the time and I'm very uncomfortable. I'm pretty ticked my parents aren't gonna be here for Iralyn's birth, they planned a trip to the Bahamas the week of my due date. UGH, oh well I'll have Amanda, Tasia, Devyn, Kara and Madi with me. Chlo and Jessa won't be there since Jessa just moved to Texas and Chloe will be having Bentley around the same time. She'll be able to visit though, so I'm happy about that. 

I just had a baby shower a few weeks ago and it was really fun, all my friends in Tennessee came and we had a blast with all the games and what not. Iralyn got a whole bunch of new clothes and toys and her Nana got her a Juicy Couture sweat suit which is my favorite gift lol. My mom also bought me a brand new iPhone so I can face chat with her while she's in Bahamas and we can video tape the birth and she can see Iralyn first hand. So, YAY MOMMY.
